On this circuit route which starts and ends near the Kiel Fjord, you will come to know the Holstein and Segeberg regions, the coast near the district of Probstei, and the spa towns around Lübeck Bay.

Day 1: Arrival in the Spa Town of Stein

Travellers are responsible for their own transportation to Stein. The small spa town awaits you! Your hotel is located near the dike.


Day 2: Stein – Weissenhäuser Beach
Distance: approx 48 km / 30 mi

Today’s leg of the tour takes you mainly along the beaches of the Baltic Sea coast to Hohwacht. Spend the night in the spa town of Weissenhäuser on the Hohwacht Bay.


Day 3: Weissenhäuser Beach – Timmendorf
Distance: approx 60 km / 37 mi

Cycle through Oldenburg to the beach at Timmondorf. The trail is mostly flat and takes you comfortably to Lübeck Bay. Enjoy the harbour area with its maritime flair. Continue through the spa towns of Haffkrug and Scharbeutz to your cosy hotel.


Day 4: Timmendorf – Region of Segeberg
Distance: approx 45 km / 28 mi

The stretch to Strengliner Mühle is on soft rolling hills, through green meadows, and down idyllic alleys. Relax for a while in Kühles Nass near Lake Ward.


Day 5: Region of Segeberg – Lake Plön
Distance: approx 45 km / 28 mi

Thick forests, rolling hills, and more than 150 lakes characterise Holstein Switzerland. The church in Bosau was built in the 12th century. Spend the night in Dersau on the lake.


Day 6: Lake Plön - Holm
Distance: approx 55 km / 34 mi

Follow the Schwentine River to the old cobbler town of Preetz. There is a circus museum there. Cycle past Dobersdorf and back to Laboe near the Baltic Sea. Spend the night in Stein.


Day 7: Departure from Holm

Depart after breakfast. Travellers are responsible for their own transportation home.
