Day 1: Arrival in Heringsdorf on the Island of Usedom
Travellers are responsible for their transportation to Heringsdorf. Stay overnight there.
Day 2: Heringsdorf – Międzyzdroje / Dziwnówek
Distance: approx 40-65 km / 25-40 mi
Cross the border in the morning after breakfast. Cycle through Świnoujście, along the lagoon and to the coast. Cross the island of Wolin through the Wolin National Park to the sea-side resort town of Międzyzdroje. Spend the night there.
Day 3: Międzyzdroje – Kamień Pomorski
Distance: approx 50 km / 31 mi
Cycle through the Wolinski National Park or on the street to Kołczewo. The popular resort town of Dziwnów lies on Lake Wrzosowo made by the Dziwna River. Continue to the smal city of Kamień Pomorski, one of Pomerania's oldest cities. Spend the night there.
Day 4: Kamień Pomorski - Szczecin
Distance: approx 20 km / 12 mi
Cycle through the Eastern region of the Szczecin Lagoon to Wollin. Take the bus transfer from there to Szczecin (incl. in tour price) due to the stretch being quite long and on busy streets. Spend the night in Szczecin.
Day 5: Szczecin - Ueckermünde
Distance: approx 65 km / 40 mi
After breakfast take the transfer bus (incl. in tour price) across the border to Löcknitz. Once you have crossed the border continue by bike on the cycle route to Ueckermünde. On your way there, go through Blankensee and pass the camp grounds and holiday destination "Zaubermondhof". Spend the night in Ueckermünde.
Day 6: Ueckermünde – Anklam / City of Usedom
Distance: approx 50 km / 31 mi
You may want to visit the lagoon museum and the castle before cycling to today’s destination. Weather permitting, you may also desire to go for a relaxing swim in Mönkebude or stroll down the beach. Cycle along the vast reed landscape to Anklam and spend the night there or in the city of Usedom.
Day 7: Anklam / City of Usedom - Heringsdorf
Distance: approx 50 km / 31 mi
Cross the Anklam Bridge to the island of Usedom. You can see the church tower in the distance. The former railway lift bridge in Kamin stands as a technical monument in the river. It was once used to connect the railway lines from Berlin to Świnoujście. It would be worth your while to take a last excursion from Garz to the lagoon and Kamminke. Coming over the hill, the view onto the lagoon is fantastic, like a view onto the sea. Spend the night in Heringsdorf or nearby.
Day 8: Departure from Heringsdorf
