Day 1: Arrival in Kiel
Arrive in Kiel and discover the maritime flair of the interesting city situated on the fjord.
Day 2: Kiel – Stein / Schönberg
Distance: approx 32 km / 20 mi
Take the short circuit route to the Kiel Canal, around Kiel, and back to the fjord. Then, take a ferry to Laboe. Continue by bike along the fjord to the spa town of Stein/Schönberg.
Day 3: Schönberg / Stein – Dersau
Distance: approx 55 km / 34 mi
Cycle through the lovely landscape of Probstei to the cobbler town, Preetz. Continue over rolling hills through “Holstein Switzerland” to Lake Plön.
Day 4: Dersau – Kiel
Distance: approx 50 km / 31 mi
Pass the Lakes Post and Lank and an old Dutch wind mill on your way back to Kiel. Visit the open air museum in Wolfsee with its old cottages and farm houses. Spend the night in Kiel.
Day 5: Departure from Kiel
